Preface

Hi, 

I am Shailesh Karne, working in the field of HSE from last many years, I have gone through many ups and downs in this field and on the basis of this knowledge what I gained, want share that with you through this Blog.

The purpose of this Blog is to make people more knowledgeable, more confident and provide a ready material to understand them HSE better.

  

The present day industrial environment demands increased production, high efficiency, control of costs, quality control, etc. The production processes has become complex and the capital intensive. Machine / Equipment’s breakdowns in plants can hardly be tolerated. To meet such needs of industries the subject of Safety, Health and Environment has attained significant importance. Any neglect in this aspect can be very costly.

The employees are therefore expected to have firsthand knowledge of this subject. Keeping this requirement in view an attempt has been made to present detailed information about safety, health and environment here.

It is hoped that this Blog will be helpful for the people working in these areas in the industry and also all others - those are facing issues in their day to day work.

While writing this Blog lots of reference were studied, many books and many articles on the same were gone through, without which this Blog would not have been meaningful, is gratefully acknowledged.

It is hoped that readers will find this compilation useful and will feel free to give suggestions for improvement in subsequent articles.
